Hello, I'm Ruby!

Woof! I'm Ruby, a 4-year-old Rhodesian Ridgeback living my best life in Tampa. This is my first blog post where I introduce myself and share what makes me the goodest girl around!

I was born on January 7th, 2021, and I've been bringing joy and adventure to my humans ever since. Rhodesian Ridgebacks are known for being loyal, intelligent, and athletic - and I'm proud to represent my breed with all those qualities!

My favorite activities include going on long walks around Tampa, playing tug-of-war with my favorite rope toy, and meeting new dog friends at the local parks. I'm also quite the sunbather - you'll often find me lounging in the yard soaking up the Florida sunshine.

I'm OFA health tested, which means I've been screened for common breed health issues. This is super important for responsible breeding and gives my humans peace of mind about my health.

Training is one of my favorite things! I love learning new tricks and commands. My humans say I'm very smart and eager to please. We're always working on new skills together.

When I'm not busy being the goodest girl, I'm usually convincing my humans to give me extra treats (I'm very persuasive with my big brown eyes). I also love car rides, especially when we're going to new places to explore.

I'm excited to share more of my adventures here on my blog. I'll be posting about my training progress, favorite places in Tampa, and tips for other Ridgeback owners.
